I wrote this morning's post up last night before I went to sleep. So I missed out on informing you fine people of three important things.
First, for several minutes of game time yesterday, Southern Cal was losing to Hawaii, 5-3.
Alas, Southern Cal eventually asserted itself and went on to win by eighteen.
Second, UConn also fell behind to Towson last night. Unlike Southern Cal, they did not recover, and lost 33-18. Coach Paul Pasqualoni now looks less like this:

Third, Daniel Colt Collins, a classmate of mine, former leprechaun, and proprietor of http://irishcreed.blogspot.com/
will be signing copies of his book, Life as the Notre Dame Leprechaun at the Bookstore* this weekend. He will be there from 1:00 to 3:00 today, and 12:30-1:30 tomorrow.
Fourth, I'm rolling out two new features this year, what with this being a blog instead of an e-mail list and all. Henceforth, each week will end with two multimedia items I believe appropriate for the tone of the particular football weekend:
Song of the Week
and Fight Scene of the Week.
The man in the suit is, of course, Temple.
