Friends, welcome to Wednesday.
Next up: the University of Navy (explanation here). Now, Navy always plays stand up football with the utmost sportsmanship, unless they believe the referees aren't watching. Then we see plays like this:
They used that sportsmanship, or lack thereof, in their most recent victory in Notre Dame Stadium. D-Coordinator Corwin Brown took time out of his day to rip Navy's coach up one side and down the other for his team's appalling conduct, calling the previous play 'one of the most malicious plays I've seen since I've been playing'.
Of course, Notre Dame lost, a horrible event for Charlie Weis, aka The Coach Who Stares At Goats.
Let's beat Navy and make sure something like that doesn't happen again.
