Air Force Thursday

 Irish fans,
Another day, another email about the Air Force Academy as Notre Dame-Southern Cal fades slowly in our rear-view mirror.

What more can I say about Air Force?  Well, they compensate for their small size compared to the rest of Division I football by heavy use of what some have termed Chop Blocks.  What are chop blocks?  Well, here is Auburn's Ryan Pugh doing it, and the Air Force Academy did it four or five times.  In one game.  Against Nicholls State.

No need to know where Nicholls State is located.

The logo of Nicholls State.  aka Stabby Nebraska.

I have no clue.  But coaches across the country are very, very angry about it.
What else do we need to know about Air Force?  Well, they run our country's strategic rocket forces (nuclear weapons).  So they're the kind of people who would do something silly like build a bacon rocket.

So if you're going to the game, beware of airborne food objects.
